During the first semester of 2019, Project DaRT designed and carried out a research project on current needs in the localization industry and potential collaborations between industry and academia to provide students and recent graduates with the best and most suitable opportunities. This project was carried out in partnership with GALA (Globalization and Localization Association) and localization-focused recruitment company Lion People, and aimed to gather insights from industry leaders about the future of work, addressing skills gaps, and best practice in collaborations between industry and academia in a rapidly changing world.
We are currently analising the data obtained via our survey and interviews, and our final report will be published on the GALA website in the coming months. Meanwhile, you can read more about the project and see how we got on at the GALA conference.
